I am a Ph.D. Candidate in the Department of Economics at the University of New Mexico. I am in the 2021/2022 job market and will be available for interviews at the (virtual) ASSA meeting. I received my M.A. in Economics from the University of New Mexico, M.Sc. in Agribusiness Economics from Gokhale Institute of Politics and Economics, India, and B.A. in Economics from Visva-Bharati University, India.

My primary area of research lies in the realm of labor economics and development economics, with a particular emphasis on return migration and labor markets. My current works include examining the effects of return migration on children's human capital accumulation and labor outcomes in Mexico. I always look for opportunities to learn from and explore new areas with other scholars.

For my dissertation, I received the Dean's Dissertation Fellowship 2021-2022 and the Graduate Studies Summer Dissertation Writing Award from the University of New Mexico (UNM).
